According to articles written in the Suburban News by Doug Hickerson on 02/03/13, Pam Ketchum and Jack and Chris Mazarella won the first annual Monika Andrews leadership awards which were presented at the Village Board meeting on January 22, 2013.
Pam has donated hundreds of hours working on gardens in Village parks, supervising offenders in community service, serving on the Historic Preservation Board for 24 years, and serving as President of ProBrockport.
Jack and Chris Mazarella have provided countless hours of volunteer work to the Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary church, Lakeside Hospital, Morgan Manning house, the Toy Shelf, the Welcome Center and many other organizations and causes.
The Monika Andrews Creative Leadership Award was set up by her husband Bill Andrews after Monika's death in 2011. Monika was a very active volunteer in Brockport creating a playground for the handicapped on the corner of Holley and Utica Streets, working on the Food Shelf and in many other causes.
