Lakeside Health System plans to keep Genesee Family Practice open

LE ROY — Despite some unknowns elsewhere, Lakeside Health System officials intend to keep Genesee Family Practice open.
Some residents had expressed concerns about the Le Roy office, as the Brockport-based Lakeside examines the future of its operations.
“Right now our intent is to maintain Genesee Family Practice,” said Director of Marketing Stacy Wright on Friday. “It’s a good practice, it’s a busy practice, and we value the people who use and support it. We recognize there’s a need for it in the community.”
The Brockport-based health care provider operates the primary care physician office at 8745 Lake Street Rd. Six pepole are employed at the location.
