Brockport Police Blotter - March 11 - March 24, 2013

March 11th, 2013 through March 17th, 2013

March 12th, 2013
An East Avenue resident reports the theft of car care supplies. 

March 15th, 2013
Police arrested Amanda L. Morgan, 22 years old, of Viking Way, Sweden, for Second Degree Obstructing Governmental Administration, Resisting Arrest and Fourth Degree Criminal Mischief, all Misdemeanors. Morgan is due to appear in Sweden Town Court. 

March 16th, 2013
Police arrested Jovoun T. Webb, 27 years old, of Chili Avenue, Rochester, on charges of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, 2nd and 3rd Degree, both Misdemeanors, as well as other traffic-related offenses. Webb is due to appear in Sweden Town Court. 

March 17th, 2013
Police arrested Julie A. Vanhouten, 21 years old, of Albion, on charges of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, 3rd Degree, a Misdemeanor, as well as other traffic-related offenses. Vanhouten is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.
Police arrested Casey R. Medina, 21 years old, of Brockport, on charges of Burglary, 2nd Degree and Criminal Mischief, 3rd degree, both Felonies. Medina was arraigned in front of Hon. Robert Connors, and was remanded to the Monroe County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash/bond. 

The Brockport Police responded to 321 calls for service from March 11th, 2013 through March 17th, 2013 with 3884 calls to date.
March 18th, 2013 through March 24th, 2013

March 21st, 2013
Police were called to a Fair Street business for a Criminal Trespass report.
Police were called to a North Main Street address for an Aggravated Harassment report. The victim did not wish prosecution at the time of the report. 

March 22nd, 2013
During the early morning hours, police saw a suspect throw a wooden object at a Main Street residence. Further investigation revealed the same suspect had kicked multiple wooden balusters from a front porch down the street. The owner of the residence declined prosecution in lieu of restitution.   

March 23rd, 2013
Police were called to a Park Avenue address to take a Criminal Mischief (broken house window) report. 

Police arrested Samuel A. Welch, 30 years old, of Rochester, on charges of Suspended Registration, a Misdemeanor, as well as other traffic-related offenses. Welch is due to appear in Sweden Town Court. 

Police arrested Abel T. Araya, 21 years old, of Brockport, on charges of Third Degree Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, a Misdemeanor, as well as other traffic-related offenses. Araya is due to appear in Sweden Town Court. 

Police arrested William L. Romasser, 24 years old, of Batavia, on charges of Third Degree Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, a Misdemeanor, as well as other traffic-related offenses. Romasser is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.
 
The Brockport Police responded to 284 calls for service from March 18th, 2013 through March 24th, 2013 with 4,168 calls to date.
