Connie Castaneda was accused of illegally renting rooms in her home to college students.
In June, a judge dropped the criminal charges against her, however, Castaneda still faced the code violations.
Castaneda was found guilty in the Town of Ogden Court for four Village of Brockport codes. Those codes were failure to register residential rental property, failure to obtain residential rental inspection, failure to obtain a non conforming use permit and failure to obtain certificate of occupancy. She was also found guilty for failure to comply with New York State maintenance code.
Castaneda could face up to a year in prison, with a wide range of fines ranging from $250 to $1,000 per violation.
She will be sentenced in Town of Ogden Town court on September 24 at 5:00 p.m.
