Here the come! SUNY Brockport Welcomes a Large, Diverse Incoming Class

Class of 2017 features record minority enrollment

BROCKPORT, NY—The College at Brockport, State University of New York, welcomed 1,106 new freshmen this week—and a record 17.2 percent of them are minorities, a reflection of the emphasis and value the College places on diversity.

The College at Brockport, State University of New York, now has another 1,981 students to call its own. And those new students—1,106 freshmen and 875 transfers—were officially indoctrinated into the Brockport community Aug. 23 during an Academic Convocation ceremony.
